What the Vault Pass unlocks in SCORCHLAND:

  • ◆The Crown — four rivals, one crust, no mercy🔒 locked
  • ◆Skylight — islands adrift, every crater an exit🔒 locked
  • ◆Bedlam — low gravity, four hungry shells🔒 locked

An original pit fight built on one cruel inversion. You are a live shell on a floating slab of soil, and the ground you stand on is literally the scoreboard — whatever you touch turns your colour, and whoever holds the most ground at ninety seconds wins. The catch: a directional detonation is your only way to move. Every leap you take blows a crater in the ground ahead of you, including your own, so the flashy play and the winning play are in permanent argument. And fresh ground has not taken root — go over the rim and everything you grabbed in the last six seconds shakes loose, while the ground you held long enough stays yours, so the greedy play is the fragile one and sitting still is a real strategy that costs you clock. Rivals are thrown, not shot — knockback is the attack — and they read like open books: MOSS grazes the rim and quietly out-scores you, GRISEL hunts your shell, QUILL waits to paint over your best land, BRACK craters the map apart out of spite. Blasting opens buried cores — wider craters, heavier shells, quicker fuses, airfoil, and MEND which grows your own craters back as your ground — while a relic migrates around the pit, paying free land to whoever can stand on it long enough. The pit even has an underside: the floor holds against anything standing on it and gives way to anything climbing back up from below. Seven seeded pits, one verb, a Daily Crater where the whole world gets the same arena, and nothing but synthesized fire for a soundtrack.
